Fight Complaint Leads To Drug Arrests In Whitley County

The Whitley County Sheriff's Office says a complaint about a fight led them to a drug bust. Deputies were called out to a home on Hwy 92 where two men were reportedly fighting. While officers were investigating a man, later identified as 35 year old Kenneth Branham, gave them a fake name. When his real name was determined, they discovered he was wanted for violating his parole. After searching Branham, deputies say they found meth, scales and empty bags. Deputies say another man, 34 year old James Storer, acted suspiciously and during a search found a small bag containing what they believe to be meth where he was sitting. Branham was arrested for his warrant and was also charged with trafficking, giving an officer a false name, possession of drug paraphernalia and others. Storer was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Both were lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
