Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of East Bernstadt Man

Laurel County Sheriff John Root says K-9 Sgt. Gary Mehler and Deputy Tommy Houston arrested an East Bernstadt man during a traffic stop. 35-year-old David Robinson was pulled over after police say he failed to signal a turn. During the stop, Robinson was found to be operating on a suspended license and had four outstanding warrants in Laurel and Rockcastle Counties. Robinson was cited on traffic charges and arrested on the warrants which included charges of identity theft, DUI, shoplifting and failure to appear.
