Laurel County Sheriff John Root and London Police Chief Chuck Johnson are reporting the arrest of a wanted fugitive. Officers say information was developed on the location of 30-year-old Patrick Anthony Sizemore, of Fariston Road, and a pickup reported stolen from a business on Greeting Card Road. Police went to Davenport Lane where they found the truck in a parking lot at an apartment complex. The truck had been spray painted black with a blue hood. Officers also saw Sizemore peeking out a window of an apartment. As officers gained entry to the apartment they were met by a 16-year-old girl who attempted to confront them. Sizemore was found hiding in a pile of clothes in a closet. Following a brief scuffle he was taken into custody. In addition to the warrants, Sizemore was charged by both agencies with receiving stolen property, criminal mischief, unlawful transaction with a minor and resisting arrest. Additional charges are expected as the investigation continues. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
