A warning has been issued in Whitley County after officials say a child was attacked by a pack of dogs Monday morning. According to a post on Facebook from Whitley County Fiscal Court, the incident occurred in the Johnny Hollow area of Rockholds. The post said a pack of 10 large dogs reportedly attacked a 2-year-old child. Whitley County Judge Executive, Pat White, said the child was flown to an area hospital. At last report, the dogs were still on the loose and animal control was actively searching for them. If you see the dogs, officials say you should not approach them, but call 911 immediately.
