The Pulaski County Coroner has confirmed the identity of remains found back in December. The coroner identified the man as that of 20-year-old David Whitt of Casey County. The Pulaski County Sheriff’s office believed the remains to be Whitt’s when the body was first found off Bethlehem Ridge Road. However, the coroner could not identify them until this week. Whitt went missing in September. He was wanted for assaulting a deputy and then running away. Deputies say the incident happened near the area where the remains were found.
