Gov. Beshear Announces $1.1 Million to Support Two EKY Counties, Including Rockcastle

Governor Andy Beshear has announced more the $1.1 million in state funding to support site and building development projects in two counties, including Rockcastle, for future job growth. The projects will be supported through the Kentucky Product Development Initiative (KPDI). The Rockcastle County site is a regional project and will have support from Garrard and Lincoln counties. Rockcastle County will acquire land adjoining the Sparks property. The initiative, provides funding for local communities to invest in upgrades to support economic growth and well-paying jobs for Kentuckians. KPDI projects so far have generated $123 million in investments.
