The Corbin Police Department and Barbourville Police Department teamed up for a drug bust at a home in the Woodbine community of Knox County. Officers reportedly found eight ounces of suspected methamphetamine as well as heroin, fentanyl, firearms, and cash. Police say during the bust, 30-year-old Harrison Hoskins assaulted one of the officers while children were present. Hoskins was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, drug possession, assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental operations, endangering welfare of a minor, criminal abuse and several other misdemeanors. Hoskins was lodged in the Knox County Detention Center.
