Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Detective Tommy Houston along with Capt. Richard Dalrymple, Detective Robert Reed, and Detective Hunter Disney arrested an East Bernstadt man for sexual abuse. Police took 56-year-old Thomas Scott into custody following a situation where a complaint warrant was filed. Scott was charged with first degree sexual abuse involving an underage victim. He was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
