Laurel County Sheriff John Root says K-9 Deputy Brian France and Deputy Allen Turner caught up to a parole violator. 45-year-old Jamie Blevins, of London, was arrested off McWhorter Road. He was charged on a Kentucky parole board parole violation warrant for absconding parole supervision, failure to attend treatment for substance abuse and fleeing or evading police. Blevins was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
