Laurel County Sheriff John Root says Deputy Justin Taylor with the Interdiction Unit and K-9/Sgt. Gary Mehler were dispatched to Lewiston Road where a man was reportedly out of control. Deputies arrived to find that a verbal argument had turned physical. Allegedly 26-year-old Anthony Hubbard grabbed a woman and pushed her against the wall leaving visible marks. Hubbard was arrested and charged with assault – 4th degree and lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center.
