Laurel County Sheriff John Root said a 4-year-old girl’s parents were arrested after reportedly exposing her to meth. Officials said the child tested positive for meth and other drugs. Following an investigation, Detective Taylor McDaniel, along with Capt. Richard Dalrymple and Detective Hunter Disney arrested 38-year-old Jamie Setser off of Old Salem Road. Setser was charged with criminal abuse. The next day, police arrested the girl’s father, 36-year-old Derrick Feltner, on KY-490 in East Bernstadt and charged him with the same crime. Both were lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center. Officials say the girl is now with other relatives and is expected to be okay.
