Kentucky State Police say troopers were called out Wednesday to a crash with “heavy entrapment” on southbound I-75 in Rockcastle County. The Brodhead Fire Department says the crash happened near mile marker 68. The crash involved two semis. Crews used rescue equipment to pull at least one of the drivers out of one of the trucks. The driver was flown from the scene to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Traffic was backed up in the area for several hours while crews worked the scene.
